Fall Color Tours
You haven't experience the true beauty of fall colors until you have experienced them in the rolling hills of Northern Michigan. Here are a few routes we would suggest:

Charlevoix & Boyne City Loop:
From Shanty Creek Resort, proceed north on M-88 toward Bellaire. In downtown Bellaire at the blinking light, continue straight onto Bellaire Highway toward Torch Lake. Turn right onto East Torch Lake Dr. and continue on this road until it ends in Eastport. Turn left onto M-88 and then turn right on US-31 toward Charlevoix. Continue through Charlevoix, stopping if you wish for shopping, a great lunch or simply walking around. Just outside of Charlevoix turn right on Charlevoix-Boyne City Road and continue for about 14 miles until you get to Boyne City, another cute town. From Boyne City, take Lakeshore Drive toward Ironton. To take the car ferry continue on this road along Lake Charlevoix or turn left in Advance to skip the ferry ride. Continue on either road until you hit M-66 and turn left (south) on it. Take M-66 and turn right on Eddy School Rd./ 620 toward Bellaire. This road will end near the Antrim County Airport, where you will be turning left on Derenzy Road. Take this road into Bellaire and turn left on M-88 toward Shanty Creek Road.
