Hawk's Eye has been ranked as the 12th greatest public golf course in the state of Michigan. It is a beautiful semi-private, championship golf course that is the centerpiece of Hawk's Eye Golf Community located in beautiful northern Michigan. The golf course opened its entire 18 hole layout for play in June of 2004. The course has continued to impress golfers of all levels. The reviews and comments about the course have been nothing short of spectacular.
It was designed by golf course architect John Robinson who was recently named to the top 50 golf course architects in the country. The Hawk's Eye Clubhouse is complete. The restaurant and Pro-Shop were open for the 2007 season.
The beginner will find the huge fairways and greens forgiving and enjoyable and the seasoned player will find the course challenging because the course has been designed with a risk/reward strategy in mind. In short, it is fun for everyone. Grandparents, parents, children, men, women, expert, novice, no matter, you will enjoy your quality time at Hawk's Eye!
The golf course has been built on a large piece of beautiful property in Bellaire, Michigan. The course meanders along windswept hills and into tree lined valleys. The views of the countryside are spectacular, if you are able to take your eyes off the course.
Hawk's Eye was developed by the same group that developed The Chief Golf Course, which is less than a mile away. It serves as a great compliment to The Chief because the courses each embody a different character. On your next trip to northern Michigan don't miss these wonderful golf courses.

Hawk's Eye Golf Club was designed by golf course architect John Robinson. He was recently named to the top 50 golf course architects in the country because of his hard work, dedication and innovative designs. He works on his own and still does all of his drawings by hand. He believes that he can only transfer his design ideas into a plan if he does so with his own pencil and paper. Despite the fact that his design company is a boutique, and he only takes a few commissions each year, John has recently teamed with John Daly to help design his courses throughout the world. During his last visit to the site at Hawk's Eye he stated that "Hawk's Eye will be my crowning achievement to date." We haven't found anyone who could argue with this assertion.
